First Christmas studio album by the performer, & his 24th studio album overall. Composed of holiday standards, plus the title track that was penned by Nelson. He had originally recorded it back in 1964, & the year before that  it had been a hit for Roy Orbison. Booker T Jones, from Booker T & The M.G.’s arranged the songs & played keyboards on the album. Certified platinum in the US & gold in Canada.
