Jim Meyer — Arbutus & Jade

Debut album of the Vancouver artist who plays a Chapman Stick, a stringed electric instrument which resembles the fretboard of an electric guitar, except wider, as it has up to 12 strings. It was developed by Emmett Chapman in the early 1970s. It is played by striking (rather than plucking) the strings against the fretboard. It can, and is usually, played with both hands, one playing the bass line & the other the melody.
