Stan Rogers — From Fresh Water

Posthumously released album by the Canadian folk singer from Hamilton Ontario. One of a series of concept albums the artist intended to release, in this case about the Great Lakes region. His 1977 debut, Fogarty’s Cove, which also inspired the name of his self-publishing label, was about the Maritimes, while 1981’s Northwest Passage was about the western provinces & the north. Had he not died a year before this release, he would have produced more such albums on the far north & Quebec.
