The Hives — Veni, Vidi, Vicious

Second studio album from the Swedish rock band. The name comes from a play on the quote by Julius Caesar, “Veni, Vidi, Vici”. Four singles were released, including “Hate To Say I Told You So”, which became one of the band’s signature songs & was ranked 244 on Pitchfork’s Top 500 Songs of 2000-2009. The album meanwhile reached 91 on Rolling Stone magazine’s Top 100 albums of the decade. It peaked at 63 on the Billboard 200, & 71 on the Canadian album charts.
