Best of compilation released originally in 1995 featuring songs from the band’s earlier years, 1962-1966, as well as the song “Kokomo”, released in 1988 & featured in the film, Cocktail. By 1999 the album had reached double platinum in the US, prompting a sequel subtitled Vol 2, at which point this album was re-released with the new, now appropriate subtitle, Vol. 1.
