1968 debut album from the blues performer, born Henry St. Claire Fredricks, jr. The artist is backed by guitarists Ry Cooder & Jesse Ed Davis. The house on the jacket was in the Bunker Hill area of Los Angeles, & although it was moved for the purpose of restoration it was destroyed by arson at its new location. Its original location is now the Wells Fargo complex.
