Syd Barrett — The Madcap Laughs

Debut album from the former frontman of Pink Floyd, first released in 1970. Labelling indicates this is the 1974 UK pressed issue of the album. Fairly well reviewed by critics, it hit 40 on the UK album charts upon release. Barrett’s Pink Floyd band mate David Gilmour contributed to the album both as producer and guitarist, and Roger Waters also contributed as producer. Several of the songs have been covered over the years, including opening track “Terrapin” by The Smashing Pumpkins, & “Dark Globe” by R.E.M.
