Styx — Paradise Theater

Tenth studio album from the Chicago band, & their most commercially successful, spending three non-consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. A concept album, it tells a fictionalized story of a theatre in the band’s home city, from its opening to its demolition 30 years later. Although an actual Paradise Theater existed, it bore little resemblance to the artwork on the album cover. The album would be certified triple platinum in the US, & platinum in Canada.
