2016 vinyl reissue of the tenth studio album by the band, first released in 1977. Recorded at the band’s own Britannia Row studios. A concept album focusing on the conditions of Britain in the mid-70s, the famous cover features the Battersea Power Station, on the south bank of the Thames. No singles were released but the album was promoted through the group’s In The Flesh tour. The behaviour of fans during this tour would inspire Roger Waters and the band on their next album, The Wall. Animals would peak at 3 on the Billboard 200, & 12 on the Canadian charts. Certified 4x platinum in the US, & double platinum in Canada.
