Phil Collins — Dance Into The Light

Sixth solo album for the performer, but his first as a full-time solo artist, having left Genesis earlier that year. It was recorded in a rented French chateau, using a mobile studio owned by Sting. After hearing disappointment from his listeners in regards to the use of drum machines on his previous album, Both Sides, Collins used a real drum kit. The album closes with a cover of the Bob Dylan track, “The Times, They Are A Changin’” Certified gold in the US, & platinum in Canada.
