Regarded by some jazz critics as the best jazz record ever, released originally in 1959. Guest artists included “Cannonball” Adderley, John Coltrane, & Bill Evans. Back in 2002 it was included in the first fifty albums to be included in the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress, for its cultural significance. Peaking at 3 on the Billboard 200 chart, it was certified 5x platinum in the US.
