Debut album of the composer, violinist & singer from Montreal. Noted for his unusual violin & banjo arrangements, as well as his incorporation of traditional Yiddish music. His later career saw him composing for film and television, both in North America and Europe. His early records were big hits in Japan, & were rereleased in that country, but only on CD.
