Final album released by the artist before his death, the seventh under his own name, & the fifth collaboration between the couple. The album signified Lennon’s return to music after five years of raising son Sean. Winner of the 1981 Grammy for Album of the Year, and released only three weeks before Lennon’s murder, was number one on the album charts of numerous countries, including the UK, US, & Canada, & was certified triple platinum in the US & platinum in the UK.
