Only studio album by the artist, released originally in 1994. Initially only reaching 149 on the Billboard 200, the album’s standing grew after the artist’s 1997 death by drowning, & the artist’s cover of Leonard Cohen’s song “Hallelujah” is on the Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 500 Greatest Songs. In 2008, it became Buckley’s first number one, on Billboard’s Hot Digital Songs chart, and by 2016 the album was certified platinum in the US. It’s certified gold in Canada.
