Third studio album for the “sunshine pop” band from Santa Cruz, California. Songs on the album were written by Randy Newman, Burt Bacharach, Jimmy Driftwood & the band themselves, as well as Broadway classic by the Gershwins & Frank Loesser. Not long after recording this album, a flight the group was on travelling from Pasadena to San Francisco was hijacked, all the passengers were released when the plane landed in Denver, Colorado, & the hijackers were apprehended when the plane eventually landed in Rome, Italy. Member Ted Templeman would go on to be a record producer after the group broke up in 1970, working with such acts as Van Morrison & Carly Simon, & helping in starting the careers of Van Halen, The Doobie Brothers, & others.
