Sixth album by the band from the Tsawwassen area of Delta, British Columbia. The studio album was the second the band put out with Sony after being dropped by Warner (Dear Dear was the first) & the second to eventually reach platinum in Canada. Single “Ocean Pearl” became a signature song for the band, & peaked at 22 on the Canadian singles charts. The album was named for a well-known music club in Vancouver whose neon sign features prominently on the cover.
Although this album was recorded in LA, royalties the band received from the band Hootie And The Blowfish from their cover of the song “I Go Blind”, which first appeared on 54-40’s self-titled second album, allowed 54-40 to later build their own recording studio.
